Staying at this amazing place was an absolute blast! The room was super cozy, clean, and had all the necessary amenities we needed. The terrace provided a peaceful and private spot to relax and enjoy the breathtaking views of the surrounding hills. The location was perfect, allowing us to easily explore the island and access nearby trails. The best part, however, was the incredible hospitality of the people here. Maria, the heart and soul of this place, was always friendly and ready to assist us with any questions or needs. Her mom, Eftochia, prepared the most delicious traditional Cretan meals that left us wanting more. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and will definitely be returning in the future. I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves being close to nature and immersing themselves in the warm and friendly Cretan atmosphere. Thank you to the amazing staff for making our stay unforgettable!

The twin room was cosy and had a fridge, air conditioning, and a coffee/tea maker. the location was particularly good, close to nature and overlooking the street. It was next to the garden, the tavern at night, and the beach.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Metochi on Gavdos Island and it was an amazing experience. the location is superb, with stunning views of the sea from every corner of the property. the staff, especially Maria, is incredibly friendly and welcoming, making you feel like an old friend. the peaceful and quiet atmosphere, surrounded by goats and other animals, adds to the charm of this place. Metochi is a little slice of paradise that I can't wait to visit again. 😄.

the place is a bit further from the beach, but with a car, it only takes a few minutes. the peaceful and quiet atmosphere, along with the charming and unique decor, made our experience truly delightful. We loved waking up to perfect sunrises just outside our room. It felt like being in a traditional village with sheep, goats, hens, and roosters roaming around. the host was incredibly friendly and always ensured our stay was enjoyable. She even met us at the port and provided us with helpful information on transportation to the ferry. the food at the taverna was delicious and made us feel right at home. the cozy, clean room and nearby parking space were additional highlights. Despite a slightly bumpy road, it was easily accessible even with a small car. Highly recommended for a relaxing and authentic Greek island experience!

The rooms at Metochi Gavdos are cozy and comfortable, with a private bathroom and beautiful terrace views. As a backpacker who appreciates simplicity, I felt right at home in the double room with its balcony, electric kettle, and kitchenware. It was the perfect space to unwind after a long day of exploring.

The soundproofing in the quadruple room could be improved. But hey, it's just my subjective opinion, and some might still find enjoyment in it.

The warm and welcoming staff made my New Year's stay unforgettable. The freshly prepared and delightful meals were a highlight of my experience. The location, though secluded, offered a peaceful and tranquil atmosphere for a relaxing getaway. I also enjoyed the well-maintained gardens and the spacious and clean rooms.

The remote location, which made it necessary to have a car or arrange for transportation in advance. the lack of nearby amenities such as bakeries and tavernas meant that planning ahead was essential.

The food at the tavern was AMAZING, with handmade local dishes that were simply astonishing. The desserts made by Granny were a joy to taste. I had an very nice stay at a hidden gem in Gavdos. The peaceful and idyllic atmosphere at Metochi was exactly what I needed for a relaxing vacation. The studio I stayed in was clean, spacious, and had a lovely terrace where I could unwind. The highlight of my stay was the amazing Greek food served at the on-site taverna. Every meal was a culinary delight, and I especially loved the handmade local dishes prepared by Eftihia. The desserts, like the ice cream and galaktompoureko, were a joy to taste. I also had the chance to try the traditional Gaydos recipe of Staka , which was a unique and delicious experience. The hospitable and friendly hosts, Maria and Eftihia, made me feel welcome and ensured that my stay was really good. They were always smiling and were really good too make sure I was comfortable. The location of Metochi was also great for exploring the area. Although it was not by the beach, I enjoyed being central and having the option to go on a ramble to the nearby beach at Korfos. my stay at Metochi Gavdos was nothing short of really good. I highly recommend this hidden paradise to anyone looking for an authentic and lovely experience in Gavdos.

The room was comfortable and clean, with a lovely private patio. The location was peaceful and surrounded by beautiful nature. One of the best aspects was the delicious food at the on-site tavern, with traditional dishes made from local ingredients.

That the island had no bank or ATM, so it was necessary to bring cash. if you don't have a car, the property is a bit far from the beaches, although there is a local bus that stops near the entrance of the property.
